ABOUT THE BONUS RACING SCHEME

During the 2005/06 season of racing, the HROA began running it's highly successful Bonus Racing Scheme. Since its inception, the amount of bonus races has continued to increase, a trend the VHRSC intends to maintain.

When you become a member of the VHRSC, your horses automatically become eligible to win prizemoney bonuses at selected meetings throughout the season.

With the support of many generous clubs throughout the state, the VHRSC is able to offer owners a chance to win a $1500 bonus if their horse wins a Bonus Race.

The VHRSC provides $1,000 of the bonus, $500 of which is kindly matched by the host club totalling $1,500.

Last season the HROA/MHRC offered $90,000 in bonuses, and in the season 2009/10 the new venture of VHRSC is offering up to $100,000 in bonuses to owners.
CONDITIONS FOR THE BONUS RACES
To be eligible for VHRSC Bonus Races, the following conditions apply:

To be eligible for the $1,500 bonus you must be a paid up Member of the VHRSC prior to the meeting AND BY 28th February 2010.

Partnerships of individual Owners of 2 or less must all be paid up Members of the VHRSC.

Partnerships of individual Owners of 3 or more must have at least 2 individual Owners as paid up Members of the VHRSC.

Syndicates must be registered with HRV. If a syndicate races a horse in partnership with individual Owners, the conditions of 2 or less, or 3 or more apply i.e. (RACING SYNDICATE, B. SMITH, A. JONES, C. FOX) 2 of the 4 listed owners must be paid up Members for eligibility of the VHRSC Bonus.

Payment of the VHRSC Bonus will be made by the VHRSC after swabs have been cleared by Harness Racing Victoria. |
